Tucked away in the tranquil Pinewoods, just a short stroll from the much loved Valley Gardens, North Yorkshire Council’s Horticultural Nursery is a true local treasure.
For more than 50 years, the nursery has grown the vibrant floral displays seen across Harrogate and neighbouring towns. Thousands of plants are cultivated each year, all chosen to thrive in Yorkshire’s northern climate.
The nursery is open to everyone – and now is the ideal time to visit. Seasonal bedding and perennial plants are available, bringing warm colour to borders, pots and patios.
With Mother’s Day on Sunday 15th March, it’s the perfect chance to pick up a thoughtful plant gift. And with Easter just around the corner, you’ll also find spring plants and bright arrangements that make great nature inspired gifts.
